Sanction of crores of rupees for residences of judges

Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee (ICC) of the Cabinet has approved the release of funds worth Rs 69.500 million for the construction of the Islamabad High Court building and judges’ residences.

According to the details, the meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet was chaired by Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar, in which Minister of State for Petroleum Mossadegh Masood Malik, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Finance Tariq Bajwa, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Revenue Tariq Mehmood Pasha. , Federal Secretaries and other senior officers participated.

In the meeting, the ECC has approved technical supplementary grants for various ministries and divisions. 22.560 million for the Ministry of Climate Change, 69.500 million for the Ministry of Housing and the Islamabad High Court building and judges’ residences, and 60 million for the President’s Secretariat.

Apart from this, the Economic Coordination Committee approved a grant of Rs.6 billion to the Ministry of Planning and Development and Rs.63.6 million to the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs for conducting the seventh population and household census.

The ECC approved a grant of Rs 222.037 million to the Ministry of Aviation, Rs 429.420 million to the Ministry of Interior and Rs 7,525.133 million to the Ministry of Interior for employee related expenses and Rs 12.30 million to the National Security Council.

300 million loan to PCC, Rs.1 billion as TSG to meet pending ration bills for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Hq) FC, North and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Hq) FC South respectively. 400 million rupees was also approved.
