Mumbai: Sharab Hashmi, who played the role of King Shah Rukh Khan’s friend in the Bollywood romantic film Jab Tak Hai Jaan, has revealed that Katrina Kaif’s husband Vicky Kaushal auditioned for the role in the 2012 film. .
In an interview given to the Indian media, Sharab Hashmi said that Vicky Kaushal had auditioned for the role of Shahrukh Khan’s friend who played the lead role in the super hit Bollywood film Jab Tak Hai Jaan in 2012. The makers rejected him and gave me the chance to work because they felt that Vicky Kaushal was not the right name.
Katrina Kaif’s husband Vicky Kaushal made his debut in the year 2015 while he has collaborated with Bollywood Nawab Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan in ‘Zara Hit Zara Bachke’ which released recently.
Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in Baar Sam Bahadur while he also has several big films in the pipeline which are yet to be announced.
It should be noted that Shah Rukh Khan’s movie “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” was a super hit in Bollywood by earning more than 120 crores. Apart from Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma also played an important role in this movie.
