The State Bank of Pakistan has announced the withdrawal of import authority given to authorized dealers.
According to the circular issued in this regard, the authority of the authorized dealers was withdrawn in consultation with the stakeholders.
According to the State Bank, the circulars of 20 May and 5 July 2022 are being withdrawn.
Authorized dealers were given the option to prioritize import of certain goods on December 27, 2022.
