Lahore: Singer Misha Shafi, who is facing a defamation case by Pakistan’s famous singer and actor Ali Zafar, has admitted in the court that women can lie in front of the public and they can make serious false allegations against anyone.
The case was heard in Lahore District Court, where Meesha Shafi was cross-examined by Ali Zafar’s lawyer, while the singer’s lawyer dismissed the cross-examination as irrelevant.
During the hearing, Ali Zafar’s lawyer asked the singer if a woman can lie in public or make false allegations against someone, Meesha Shafi said that everything is possible.
On this occasion, Ali Zafar’s lawyer said that Meesha Shafi made false allegations of sexual harassment against the singer to damage his reputation and reputation.
On the other hand, according to Misha Shafi, her allegations were not false and she did not want to launch the MeToo campaign in Pakistan.
It may be noted that Meesha Shafi made allegations against Ali Zafar on Twitter in 2018 and the controversy gained a lot of publicity.
