Mumbai: Indian filmmaker Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film ‘The Archies’ is facing trolling on social media and the filmmaker has also given his reaction to it.
While the teaser of ‘The Archies’ has been released, while it is being praised worldwide, some people have criticized the cast of the film for being white.
Zoya Akhtar reacted to the severe trolling on social media and wrote that this cast is all Indian, do the trollers want to say that Indians are not Indians.
He wrote that how can we decide what an Indian should look like, it’s not the cast’s fault how they look.
Farhan Akhtar’s sister further said that this diversity of colors is the beauty of India and the cast of ‘The Archies’ are all light-skinned Indians.
‘The Archies’ is a special film introducing new kids in the showbiz industry including Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana, Amitabh’s granddaughter Agastya and Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor.
