Lahore: The Punjab Police arrested the accused who escaped to Oman after killing him in Mandi Bahauddin six years ago and brought him back to Oman.
According to Express News, the crackdown on fugitive advertisers abroad is getting tougher, another fugitive from Oman was arrested and handed over to the Punjab Police.
According to Punjab Police, Kamran Hanif, wanted for 6 years in the murder incident, was arrested from Amman with the help of Interpol.
Mandi Bahauddin Police issued a red notice of the accused from Interpol, after which the accused was arrested and brought to Pakistan. Advertiser Kamran Hanif, wanted in the murder case, was wanted by Punjab Police Mandi Bahauddin for 6 years.
After the arrest of Kamran Hanif, the total number of ad criminals arrested from abroad has reached 40.
IG Punjab Usman Anwar has congratulated the police team that arrested the dangerous advertiser and directed to continue the crackdown to arrest the absconding advertisers abroad involved in serious incidents.
