Zamzam water is a living miracle

Historical studies show that the history of Zamzam is about five thousand years old, it appeared during the time of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) and his family.

How did Zam Zam appear? The authors of all our religious books agree on the same tradition that according to the command of Allah, Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) brought his wife Hajra (RA) and his infant son Ismail (A.S.) from the country of Iraq to Makkah.

When he left his wife and son in the land of Makkah in front of Ain Baitullah, he left a bag full of dates and a musket full of water with them. have been.

He did not give any answer, three times he repeated the same question and each time he remained silent. Finally, Hajra herself said: You are leaving us with the help of Allah. Then he said: Yes. Then those patient and shocked women were like: Then it’s okay, he will protect us. Hazrat Ibrahim left them both in this waterless field and went towards Syria.

After a few days, that tosha was over, the infant Ismail was in a bad condition due to thirst. So mother Hajar, in a state of indecision, climbed the hill called Safa, looked for water here and there, and did not see it, so she ran towards Marwa, but there she did not see any water, so she turned back towards Safa, then towards Marwa. Like this, they circled seven circles from Safa towards Marwah in a state of anxiety, but no water was seen.

During these cycles, he was also worried that in search of water, I was running towards Safa and Marwa, lest some wolf or beast should give Ismail a chance. After the seventh cycle, when Bibi Hajra approached her son, she was surprised to see that Allah accepted her efforts and released a spring of cold and sweet water instead of rubbing her heels.

They built a fence of sand and stones and used to say with their mouths: Zam, Zam, which means stay, stay. For this reason, the name of this water Zam Zam became famous, which will be called by the same name till the end of the day, God willing, and will continue to be so, which will be a proof of its being a miracle. After the discovery of water, Hazrat Hajra took up her permanent residence here.

In the same way, the birds had also discovered this water, so once they were bringing water there in the form of a flock, then at the same time a caravan of the Banu Jarham tribe was passing through here coming from Yemen. When I saw it, I guessed that there must be water at this place.

However, they also now turned their direction in the same direction and to their surprise there was no end that they found the water and saw the mother and sons also settling down nearby. They asked for permission, which was given to them, but on the condition that the authority over the water will be mine, they accepted this condition. Thus it is called the first population of Makkah.

The first construction around Zamzam in the form of a dam was done by Hazrat Hajra, after that Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) excavated this spring from all sides and turned it into a well, and now it has become so deep that it is higher than the ground. If you want to see its water, you cannot see it. At one point, the depth of this well is recorded as 14 feet.

It was cleaned during the reign of Caliph Mamun al-Rashid, the first time a person went down to this well for cleaning, he made a surprising discovery that there is a rock inside this well, on which is written: “By the permission of Allah.” That is, by the command of Allah. There is a layer of soil around the rock, through which the water naturally filters.

The famous historian Urzaqi has written that during this cleaning, I also went down into the well and saw that there were three streams of water coming out of the well, from Hatim, from Safa and from Marwah. These three sleepers keep accumulating in the depth of the well so that even if the water is pumped through the machine for 24 hours, its water does not break. In 1909, the water of this well increased to such an extent that it spilled out, so a wall had to be built around it. Now its level is said to be 17 yards.

Muhammad Hussain Heikal has written that the well of Zamzam was closed or dried up during the time of Madaz bin Umar, but its location was safe in the minds of the Arabs and the desire to dig a well continued to stir in their hearts until the Holy Prophet Hazrat Abdul Muttalib, the grandfather of the Prophet ﷺ, was ordered to open a well in a dream and this order happened three times. The last time a crow was shown pecking at that place. So when he reached that place with his son, he saw that it was indeed a crow. Even then, the thongin marker on the ground was marking the original location, so you started digging from that exact spot and the well was found. From the day of the construction of bricks around the well, water has been flowing from here till today.

Now one has to descend 30 steps to visit this well where an engineer is stationed round the clock who sits in a glass room and monitors the whole situation.

The water of this well is slightly salty. Various scientists have done chemical analysis of the water and have shown the presence of these elements in it, i.e. calcium carbonate, hydrogen sulphide, magnesium sulphate, potassium nitrate, sodium sulphate and sodium chloride. In the presence of minerals, doctors write that this water is easy to digest, breaks kidney stones, strengthens joints, removes skin diseases, kills cholera germs.

Eliminates obesity by reducing abdominal fat, moderates irregular heartbeat, good for diabetes, relieves stomach pain, useful in eye diseases, cures many eye diseases by instilling it in the eyes. are done, removes the fever and is put in the mouth of the patient in alam naz.

Allah Almighty has placed three qualities in this water which are not found in any other water, Zam Zam quenches thirst, acts as food and cures every disease except death. Another hadith is mentioned in Mubarakah: “The best water on earth is Zamzam, which is as nutritious as food and a cure for disease.” (Tabarani Kabir)

It has been mentioned in the hadith, meaning: “The intention with which the water of Zamzam is drunk brings the same benefit.” (Ibn Majah)

Hazrat Jabir (RA) has narrated from the Holy Prophet (PBUH), meaning: “He (PBUH) has said that if a person intends to drink Zam-Zam water and drinks it after he is well-fed, his illness will disappear.

Zamzam water was very sacred and respected in the eyes of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), that is why he drank it standing up and then prayed this prayer, which means: “O Allah, I ask you for knowledge, useful sustenance, ample sustenance and all diseases.” Healing from.

This water is very holy and blessed for every Muslim. There are two living miracles on the earth at this time, Holy Qur’an and Zam Zam water. Water will continue forever and ever. God willing
