Experts say that the loss of billions of dollars to the ocean gate company of the submarine Titan, which disappeared near the sinking ship Titanic, is not out of the question.
International maritime lawyer Matthew Schaefer says that despite the exceptions, damages against the Titan company are possible, and the case will be strengthened if negligence is found to be the cause of the accident.
Matthew Schaeffer says that if it is proven that the Titan was unseaworthy, the exception for damages will no longer exist.
