Leah land scandal;  Chairman PTI did not appear despite being summoned for the third time

Lahore: Chairman PTI did not appear for the investigation despite the third summons in the Leah land case of anti-corruption Punjab.

According to the anti-corruption spokesman, Chairman PTI did not appear for investigation in the Leah land case even for the third time, while a notice was issued yesterday to summon him and it was complied with in Zaman Park and the notice was also displayed.

According to the spokesman, Chairman PTI himself had claimed that he believed in the observance of the law, but despite being summoned three times, he appeared and was not cooperating.

According to the anti-corruption spokesman, he was summoned to find out the PTI chairman’s position on the allegations. The purpose of the inquiry is not to harass anyone but to reach the facts. The spokesman said that Chairman PTI himself had assured the court that he would be a part of the inquiry, but by not appearing for the third time, Chairman PTI has violated his promise.

The spokesman clarified that anti-corruption believes in unbiased and impartial action.

Earlier, the anti-corruption spokesman had said regarding the summons that Imran Khan has been given the last chance to appear today, if he does not come for investigation, unilateral action will be taken according to the law.

The spokesperson also added that the sister and brother-in-law of the former prime minister were also summoned to the anti-corruption Dera Ghazi Khan today.

Former Prime Minister’s Advocate Ali Ejaz received the anti-corruption summons notice in Zaman Park.

Spokesperson Anti-Corruption says that there is clear evidence of PTI chairman’s involvement in land scandal, revenue officers were pressured by Bani Gala for illegal transfer of land.
