Houston: 29 studies and surveys conducted in nine countries have shown that laughter therapy can help relieve depression, anxiety and depression.
Experts call it humor therapy or humor therapy, in which participants are routinely forced to laugh. For this reason, experts have asserted that laughter therapy can be as effective as traditional psychotherapy. Many people have even described it as very useful.
The meta-studies, published in Brain and Behavior, involved 2,964 people from different countries. Many of the participants were regularly trained in classes to laugh out loud and use various techniques to induce a smile on their lips.
Interestingly, this study included people who were going through difficult situations. Among them were cancer patients, children undergoing surgery, general depression patients, people suffering from mental disorders, people undergoing dialysis, housewives and students. All of the participants reported that the act of laughing relieved them of depression and frustration, and the majority seemed to agree with the method.
