Indian investigative agency Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) intends to record the statements of actor Shahrukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan in connection with the investigation of the corruption case against Sameer Wankhede.

According to an Indian media report, an official of the agency familiar with the matter said on condition of anonymity that to get to the bottom of the matter, it is necessary to record the statements of Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan, so we will soon. The statements of both of them will be recorded.

The official added that the agency has already completed a partial investigation of Sameer Wankhede but the agency is waiting for the court’s approval to formally question him in detail as the Bombay High Court has given Sameer Wankhede till June 23. Provisional protection from arrest is provided.

It should be noted that in the year 2021, Sameer Wankhede, as the head of NCB Mumbai zone, has been embroiled in controversy after arresting actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan.

Last month, CBI filed a corruption case against Sameer Wankhede.

It should be remembered that on October 2, 2021, Aryan Khan and several others were arrested by the NCB on charges of possession, use and trafficking of drugs.

Aryan Khan was granted bail on October 28, 2021 by the Bombay High Court on grounds of insufficient evidence against Aryan Khan.

The Bombay High Court dismissed the NCB’s claims, terming the case as a big conspiracy.
