Washington: US President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden has admitted to deliberately not paying income tax.
According to court documents, Hunter Biden has pleaded guilty to two counts of income tax evasion. The allegations against Hunter Biden came after Trump-appointed attorney David Weiss launched an investigation in Joe Biden’s home state of Delaware.
Hunter Biden, 53, like his father, has been under fire from Trump and his Republican allies for years. The opposition has accused the two of adopting wrong policies on Ukraine and China, among other charges.
In the past, Hunter Biden has also publicly detailed his struggle to kick his addictions, which included cocaine use and alcoholism. He was also discharged from the US Navy Reserve in 2014 after testing positive for cocaine.
