Islamabad: Pakistan seeks help from UK to revive IMF agreement, British High Commissioner assured Finance Minister Ishaq Dar during a virtual meeting.
During the virtual meeting of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar with the British High Commissioner, Ishaq Dar informed the British High Commissioner about the current economic situation. During the meeting, cooperation to strengthen Pakistan-UK relations was also discussed.
During the meeting, Ishaq Dar sought help for a staff-level agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). During the meeting, the British ambassador has assured the finance minister of his support for the agreement with the IMF, the British ambassador will discuss with the IMF officials to restore the program.

It should be noted that earlier, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar requested the cooperation of US Ambassador Donald Bloom during a special meeting to restore the agreement with the IMF.
Meanwhile, Ishaq Dar also met several international ambassadors and informed about his efforts to restore the staff level agreement with the International Monetary Fund.
