Berlin: Pakistani athlete Saifullah Solangi won four medals in the ongoing Special Olympics World Games in Germany.

Pakistan’s Saifullah Solangi won a gold medal in the powerlifting event by lifting a weight of 90 kg in the back squat, while he managed to win another gold medal in the deadlift by lifting a weight of 115 kg.

Saifullah Solangi won the silver medal by lifting 245 kg weight in combined and bronze medal in bench 40 kg weightlifting.

Saifullah Head Coach Sajid Imran and Coach Razia Parveen say that Saifullah Solangi has worked hard for this event and his performance is outstanding and he has made us proud.

Defeated Pakistan by one point in basketball

On the other hand, in the basketball event of the Special Olympics World Games, Hales defeated Pakistan by 20 points against 19 after an interesting and thrilling match.

Pakistan had a one-point lead until 5 seconds before the end of the last quarter. In the last moment, the player of Hales scored a point and turned Pakistan’s victory into a defeat.

It should be noted that the 16th Special Olympic World Games are underway in Berlin, Germany, in which thousands of athletes from other countries including Pakistan are participating. The event was inaugurated on Sunday with a colorful ceremony.

On the first day of the event held at the Olympia Stadium on Monday, Pakistan’s Amara Brahim qualified for the finals of the 200m race and Abdul Haseeb qualified for the 800m race, while Samina and Muhammad Bashar reached the finals of the 50m race.
