Lahore: On the instructions of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Mumtaz Arain, the main accused of human trafficking and Yunnan boat accident, was arrested.
According to the spokesman of Punjab Police, the team of Punjab Police Vihari arrested the accused after 24 hours of tireless work. According to Mumtaz Arayan, the mobile phone of Aslam, the other main accused in the incident, was also recovered.
Important evidence including important documents and mobile data were also recovered from the accused, the accused is being handed over to FIA for further investigation.
IG Punjab says that all the accused involved in Yunan boat incident will be arrested soon, Punjab Police is providing full support to FIA and other agencies in arresting and investigating the accused. The brutal culprits involved in the tragic tragedy will be arrested and severely punished.
