According to the report, last year 95 lakh 17 thousand 829 Umrah pilgrims were those who performed Umrah for the first time. Most of the ages were taken during the month of April. This month, the number of Umrah pilgrims from within the country alone was 54 lakh 79 thousand 637.
The number of Umrah pilgrims from foreign countries was recorded as 83 lakh 72 thousand 429. In which 37 lakh 785 men and 46 lakh 71 thousand 644 women, while the total number of Umrah pilgrims from within the country was 1 crore 63 lakh 42 thousand 878, in which the number of male pilgrims was 1 crore 10 lakh 33 thousand 994 and the number of women. 53 lakh 8 thousand 8884.
The number of foreign Umrah pilgrims who performed Umrah from within the country was 96 lakh 99 thousand 997.
According to the report of the Department of Statistics, 781 thousand 409 pilgrims came from foreign countries to perform Hajj last year, while 144 thousand 653 people performed Hajj from within the country.
