Riyadh: The Saudi government has announced the name of the preacher for this year’s Hajj sermon.
According to the Arab media, Imam Sheikh Dr. Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Saeed will deliver the Hajj sermon of the Islamic year 1444. The letter of his appointment was also issued.
In the appointment letter, along with him, Sheikh Dr. Maher bin Hamad al-Mu’aiqli has been appointed as the preacher of Al-Masjid al-Haram and as the second option imam in case of emergency.
Rukn-e-Azam Waqf Arafa of Hajj is being performed on Tuesday, June 27. The sermon delivered on that day will be broadcast live across the world with translation in almost all languages.

It should be noted that Sheikh Dr. Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Saeed has been a professor of faith and contemporary religions at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and a member of the symposium on the scientific committee of national public education.
Sheikh Dr. Yusuf received his bachelor’s and then master’s degrees from the College of Fundamentals of Religion in Riyadh. In addition, he has supervised several scientific papers and discussed them in several universities.
