Karachi: A worshiper tortured a young boy for mischief in the Jamia Masjid of Kemari, after the CCTV footage of the incident came to light, the police took the worshiper into custody and transferred him to the police station.
According to the details, a worshiper tortured a young boy for mischief in Jama Masjid near Kemari Samosa Ground in Jackson Police Station area.
The CCTV footage of the incident came to light in which it can be seen that some young boys were sitting in the mosque. A friend came from outside and put his hand on the eye of the friend. The worshiper got angry and started torturing a young boy with reprimand.
The worshiper beat the young boy and made his condition better. Other worshipers also gathered and explained to the tortured worshiper. With great difficulty, the worshipers saved the life of the young boy.
After the video of the incident went viral on social media, the Jackson police arrested Meraj Gul, the man who tortured the young boy. Miraj Gill is a resident of Jackson.
According to SHO Jackson Babar Hameed, the incident of torture of a minor boy in Jamia Masjid took place on Saturday and the video went viral on Monday, on which the police took action against the person who tortured the minor boy. Taken into custody.
The SHO said that they will register a case against Meraj Gul after consulting the parents of the minor boy, who have also obtained videos of the child’s violence and statements of eyewitnesses.
