There has been an increase in sudden deaths in a hospital in Ballia in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is reported that patients were brought to the hospital with fever, difficulty in breathing and other problems and 54 people died within 72 hours, after which the hospital administration alerted the staff.
Officials say 400 people were brought to hospital over the past three days during the extreme heat, with the local health department offering different explanations for the deaths.
According to the authorities, this has been going on since June 15 and 20 people died that day, 11 the next day and 23 deaths in total.
The doctors assigned to the hospital are ascribing the cause of these deaths to heat wave (severe heat wave).
However, Lucknow member and senior doctor of the committee formed to investigate these deaths refused to accept heat wave as the cause and said that there is no such situation in other nearby districts, however he claimed that it was due to poor water supply. Can be used.
