Amjad Baig’s brother said that the three friends had left for Italy on June 9. Amjad had requested prayers from his mother on the last call.
Apart from this, the video of the sinking boat also came out. A rider made the video and sent it to a friend who posted it on social media. Several hundred people were on board the boat.
The Azad Kashmir Cabinet has decided to observe a day of mourning for the Yunnan boat accident, under which the flag will remain half-mast on June 18 across Azad Kashmir. Azak Kashmir Minister directed the Chief Secretary to contact the Ministry of External Affairs and take steps to bring back the dead bodies.
