Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf elected UC Chairman Asad Aman denied the allegation of forcibly keeping 32 members in prison and announced to respond to the show-cause notice within three days.
In a special conversation with Express, Asad Aman said that we are not rebel workers of the party, but we are with the party and the party’s stand is our stand.
He said that the party president will respond to the show cause notice given by Halim Adil Sheikh, we will be bound by whatever decision the party takes regarding sitting in KM.

On the question of not voting for Hafiz Naeemur Rehman in the election for mayor of Karachi, Asad Aman said that since the events of May 9, I have not gone home, we do not know where he eats, drinks and lives, and neither does the party leadership. In this regard, we did not take any notice, but on the contrary, we gave a show cause notice.
He said that PTI in Karachi is limited to WhatsApp only and the leadership does not come out of it.
Asad Aman said that I will respond to the show cause notice received by PTI in three days after which all the facts will come out as to why we did not vote for Hafiz Naeem or any candidate.

He said that we did not deal with conscience, allegations are being made against us, the party was taken advantage of by those who had left the party, thousands of our people are arrested, the Insaf House is also under lock and key. They were part of the party and will remain so.
It should be noted that 32 members were absent in the voting for the mayor and deputy mayor of Karachi on June 15, of which 31 belonged to PTI and 1 belonged to TLP, while Firdous Shamim Naqvi cast his vote despite being present. Was not cast.
The Jamaat-e-Islami candidate had protested in front of the returning officer during the voting and said that the UC chairmen and local body representatives who supported us have been taken from their homes and kept in safe houses, they should be released and given the right to vote.
Hafiz Naeem and PTI have claimed that the PPP has a hand in creating a forward block of their members as the members were detained from their homes and kept in private bungalows, due to which the members did not participate in the voting process. did not take
