Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s blockbuster film ‘Lagaan’ was initially offered to Abhishek Bachchan but he turned it down.
In a recent conversation with the Indian media, the actor said that he was sure that he was not right for the role and at that time he was too young and inexperienced for such a big film.
Abhishek Bachchan further said that he knew that ‘Lagaan’ was going to be a big film but he was not ready for it at that time.
The actor said that Aamir Khan filled the magic with his matchless acting in ‘Lagaan’ and that role was destined for him.
The sports drama blockbuster ‘Lagaan’ was released in 2001 starring Aamir Khan and Gracie Singh in the lead roles and the film rose to fame with its release.
