Islamabad: Senator Mushtaq Ahmed has said that the government did not see any action against interest in the budget containing the assumptions.
The Senate meeting was presided over by Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, in which Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Mushtaq Ahmed said that yesterday the Minister of State for Finance said that the conditions of the IMF were fulfilled in the budget. Senator Mushtaq Ahmed said that this is actually the interest budget of the IMF. No action against interest is seen in this budget. The budget presented contains assumptions.
He said who is taking loans? A commission should be made on it. Currently, the country has more defaults and extreme inflation than Sri Lanka. I call FBR Fraud BR. I don’t think the economy will go back on track.
Senator Mushtaq further said that nothing has been done for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the budget. He demanded that interest be abolished in the country. Civil service and police reforms should be done. The salary of the worker should be increased.
