The documentary film ‘Hum Saya’ (Neighbor) produced by Pakistan’s Center for Social Justice (CSJ) has won international recognition.
According to foreign media reports, Pakistani documentary ‘Hum Saya’ has won the ‘Best Short Documentary on Human Rights’ at the Venice Intercultural Film Festival 2023.
The documentary will be screened at Oxford University on June 16 and in Venice, Italy and other locations around the world on June 23.
The film is based on CSJ’s various research and advocacy cases focusing on human rights, democracy development and social justice in Pakistan.
In the documentary ‘Hum Saya’ (Neighbour), stories like kidnapping of girls, forced marriage, conversion of religion have been included.
