The US military’s Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed that one of its helicopters crashed in Syria, injuring 22 personnel.
10 injured in the accident have been shifted to major hospitals for treatment.
The accident occurred on June 11, according to Centcom, an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
It should be noted that there are 900 US military personnel deployed in Syria who participate in operations against the remnants of ISIS.
