Karachi: Pakistan will host the qualifiers for the Equestrian Javelin World Cup for the first time.
According to the details, the three-day World Cup qualifiers under the supervision of the Equestrian Federation of Pakistan under the supervision of the International Equestrian Federation will start from February 15 in Lahore. 6 countries including Jordan, Libya, Iran, Syria, Belarus and host Pakistan will participate in these competitions which will continue till February 17.
The successful team in the competitions will be entitled to participate in the World Cup to be held in South Africa in the same year. Meanwhile, after the trials, the national team was selected for the World Cup qualifiers. The selected horsemen include Irfan Vitto, Wajahatullah Khan, Nasir Abbas, Fanwak Abbas Lak, Fazeel Amjad Bhatti, Haroon Bandyal will be the coach.
On the other hand, President of Equestrian Federation of Pakistan, Sultan Muhammad, says that Pakistan is proud to host international competitions, Pakistani horses are highly regarded all over the world.
