Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) women’s wing leader Shabnam Jahangir was detained while trying to escape from Karachi airport to Dubai.
According to sources, Shabnam Jahangir was going to Dubai by a foreign airline flight from Karachi. The female leader had a Dubai business visa, but she was detained by FIA officials at the immigration counter on the basis of her name being included in the stop list. .
According to airport officials, Shabnam Jahangir was trying to go abroad under the guise of VIP protocol.
Shabnam Jahangir was also wanted in the FIRs registered in the May 9 riots and arson cases, while the FI officials were requested to stop her as she was also wanted in a case in Gulberg Lahore.
On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Member Sindh Assembly Ali Aziz GG has announced his separation from the party. In his video message, Member of Sindh Assembly Ali Aziz GG said that he strongly condemns the events of May 9 and action should be taken against those who are involved in it.
He said that I announce my separation from Tehreek-e-Insaaf, I want to give my time to my family and I want to take care of my mother who is not well.
