Karachi: Sindh Building Control Authority has issued an alert and declared 40 buildings of Karachi Division completely damaged in view of Cyclone Biper Joy.
Director General of Sindh Building Control Authority says that 40 buildings of Karachi Division have been declared completely damaged, which are being evacuated, while 450 buildings have been declared dangerous.
Yasin Sher Baloch further said that the Sindh Building Control Authority and other organizations are evacuating the damaged buildings while a rain emergency control room has also been established in SBCA.
Yasin Sharbaluch further said that the officers and employees of SBCA have been alerted in all the districts of Karachi Division, while the citizens are requested not to go near the dangerous buildings or park their vehicles there.
