Extreme heat in Karachi, mercury exceeded 40 degrees

Karachi: Due to Cyclone ‘Biper Joy’, the temperature in Karachi crossed 40 degree Celsius.

In the dimensions of Shahr Quaid, the temperature and intensity of the sun were recorded from Monday morning, which continued till the evening. He preferred to stay in offices.

The Meteorological Department spokesperson said that due to the effects of the cyclone, the temperature in the city increased due to the cessation of sea breezes, with the city recording a maximum temperature of 40.5 degrees Celsius.

During this time, the air humidity remained at 32%, while in the afternoon winds from the eastern direction of Balochistan blew, which reduced the temperature slightly.

Experts believe that the temperature in the city will remain high tomorrow due to the cyclone.
