Several people were killed and injured in attacks on 2 police stations in Siu Quyen District, Dak Lak Province, Vietnam.
According to international media reports, the attacks on the two police stations took place this (Sunday) morning.
According to Vietnamese officials, the dead and injured included police officers, local officials and civilians.
Vietnamese authorities say that 6 attackers involved in shooting at police stations in Siu Quyen district of Dak Lak province have been arrested and the search for more people involved in the attack is still ongoing.
It should be noted that in Vietnam where the 2 police stations were attacked, it is home to many minorities and is considered a sensitive area for the authoritarian regime of Vietnam.
Such incidents of violence are considered extremely rare in Vietnam because it is illegal for civilians to own weapons and the black market for weapons is limited.
