Sajjad Karim, a former member of the European Parliament from Great Britain and chairman of the Friends of Pakistan group in the same parliament, expressed his condolences on the death of General Retired Pervez Musharraf, saying that he was shocked by the death of the former president.
He said that President Musharraf had shown deep thought and understanding in all his dealings with the UK and the European Union during the many years of his rule.
Sajjad Karim told the incidents related to himself with the former president and said, “I remember an incident regarding King Charles III of Great Britain, who was the crown prince at that time, when I appealed to him to understand the matter in the case of a British citizen. on which the person received proper treatment from them.’
Sajjad Karim hoped that if the family of the former president requests the government to bring his dead body to Pakistan, they will not face any unnecessary hurdles and all arrangements will be made as per the wishes of the family.
