Mumbai: Famous actor, director and producer of Indian film industry Mangal Dhillon died of cancer at the age of 48.
The actor belonged to Faridkot area of Punjab, he was suffering from cancer for a long time and died in a hospital in Ludhiana on Sunday.
Mangal Dhillon started his showbiz career with Doordarshan and various radio dramas and in 1987 he got an opportunity to act in the TV serial ‘Banayad’ which shot him to fame.
The actor has acted in around 30 films and TV dramas, including Yoginder, Laxman Rekha, Haikham, Vishwanta, Khoon Bhari Maang and Azad Desh Ke Ghulam.
On the sudden demise of Mangal Dhol, his fellow artists from the showbiz industry have paid tributes to him.
