Turkish security forces arrested 6 people after seizing one billion dollar worth of fake currency in Istanbul.
One of the arrested suspects is from Ghana while 3 are from Sweden.
The military police chased the suspects in the Kaghişin area of Istanbul and took action when they arrived at a warehouse.
Force personnel seized fake 100, 100 dollar notes with a total value of one billion dollars, these notes were to be sent to African countries.
Later, the houses of the accused were raided and their cash and jewelery were seized.
The consulates of Sweden and Ghana have been informed about this.
This operation to catch fake cash is the biggest operation in the history of Turkey.
