Karachi: A newborn baby girl mysteriously disappeared from the largest government-run Jinnah Hospital in Shahr-e-Quaid, the victim’s family accused the hospital administration of alleged negligence.
According to the details, last night, a newborn girl mysteriously disappeared from the gynecological ward of Jinnah Hospital.
Keeping in mind the sensitive environment of the hospital, the protestors refrained from raising slogans and raised banners and placards on the paths.
The protestors said that the baby girl was born through an operation at one o’clock in the night. After the mother went to sleep, someone picked up the baby girl. At first, the doctors said that the baby girl may have been sent to NICH for examination, but after the mother made noise. The doctors and staff showed ignorance. If the camera footage and staff list are not given to the police, the scope of the protest will be widened.
The family members said that if the demands are not accepted, they will go to the Karachi Press Club after the next two hours. After the protest, the hospital administration has stopped giving medicines to the patient and we are being pressured to end the protest.
Spokesman Jinnah Hospital Jahangir Durrani said that a suspicious woman was with the family for two days, the woman advised the family to get the girl checked up at NICH, although our doctor advised her to go to NICH. Not recommended.
He claimed that we have CCTV footages in which it can be seen that the family was going out of the hospital ward with the girl and the woman and had also returned as the NICH doctor said that Get a slip from the doctor of the first ward hospital for check-up, this missing girl was healthy, she didn’t need to go to NIH.
Meanwhile, the police have registered an FIR against the family’s complaint, the hospital administration is fully cooperating with the police, for this the hospital administration has also formed an investigation committee.
The allegation that the authorities have completely stopped the treatment is also baseless, all medical facilities are being provided to the girl’s mother in the gynecological wards of the hospital.
