Sudan, military commanders agree to 24-hour ceasefire

Military factions in Sudan have agreed to a new 24-hour ceasefire mediated by the United States and Saudi Arabia.

Under the agreement, the parties will refrain from the movement and movement of military forces, the use of aircraft or drones, artillery and airstrikes, and also agree not to seek military discrimination during the ceasefire.

The United States and Saudi Arabia say that the facilitators will postpone the Jeddah talks if Sudan’s warring parties do not abide by a new ceasefire.

It should be noted that since the war between the warring parties in Sudan, 1.9 million people have been displaced and more than 4 million people have left the country.

On the other hand, according to the news agency, unrest has also spread in the western region of Darfur and looting has started.
