Ranbir and Alia will play the roles of Hindu deities Ram and Sita in the mega film 'Ramayan'

Mumbai: Bollywood’s famous duo Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will play the roles of Hindu gods Ram and Sita in India’s mega budget film ‘Ramayan’.

According to Indian media sources, Alia played the role of a woman named Sita in the blockbuster film ‘RRR’ which was very popular and that is why she has been included in Nitish Tiwari’s mega film.

Sources say that Alia Bhatt was initially given the role of Sita, but due to her different schedule, it came to light that she would not be able to do the project, but after the long delay of ‘Ramayan’, the director and producer have given Alia Bhatt a chance. What is the final decision to play the role opposite her husband?

According to reports, talks are going on with ‘KGF’ superstar Yash for the role of Raavan and Yash is yet to decide to join the project.

According to the official announcement, the cast of ‘Ramayan’ will be completed by Diwali and more big names are expected to join.

Earlier, Ranbir and Alia played lead roles opposite each other in ‘Brahmastra 1’ which has been loved by the fans.
