Mumbai: The poster of famous Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s new movie Hudi surprised the fans and they were very happy to see their favorite actor in a transgender role.
According to Indian media sources, the film team took more than six months to finalize the actor’s transgender role.
Film producer Radhika Nanda revealed while talking to the media that it took 30 minutes to dress Nawazuddin in a saree and his complete get-up was completed in about 3 hours.
He said that the actor had never worn a saree before and had to spend hours with the outfit.
According to Nanda, around 80 sarees were kept on the set during the shoot and Nawazuddin Siddiqui was surprised to see himself in the mirror with the saree on.
The film ‘Hudi’, which is about a transgender boy, will be released on July 15 this year.
