Islamabad: Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has said that 3 billion rupees have been allocated for health insurance of artists and film finance fund.
The Information Minister has said in his tweet that for the first time two billion rupees have been set aside for the film finance fund and one billion rupees for the health insurance of artists (in the budget).
The federal minister said that I am sure that these measures will play an important role in the development of the film industry and the welfare of national artists.
He further said that thanks to these initiatives, the promotion of Pakistan’s narrative, heritage and culture through films and development of screen tourism will go a long way.
