Karachi, dairy farmers' decision to withdraw Rs 10 increase in milk price

Karachi: Dairy farmers recently decided to roll back the Rs 10 hike in milk price.

According to Express News, Dairy Farmers Association in Karachi has decided to withdraw Rs 10 increase in the price of milk from June 1.

According to sources, this decision will be implemented from June 10, meaning milk will be sold in the city at the previous price of Rs 210 per kg from June 10.

It should be noted that the Dairy Farmers Association had automatically increased the price of milk by 10 rupees per liter on June 1 and in this regard, unlike in the past, no meeting was held with the Commissioner Karachi and no permission was taken from him.

It should be noted that milk in Karachi is already being sold at more than the fixed government rate.
