Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says that permission has been given to open LC on priority basis for import of raw materials.
During the budget speech in the National Assembly, Ishaq Dar said that no new tax will be imposed on the industrial sector next year, it has also been proposed to abolish the tax on agricultural implements.
The finance minister further said that ten billion rupees have been proposed for the laptop scheme.
He also said that the budget of BISP has been increased from 360 billion rupees to 400 billion rupees, the economic growth rate in the next financial year is estimated to be 3.5 percent, the inflation rate will be up to 21 percent.
