Chinese: Vani Jairam, a popular singer of the 80s in India, was found dead in her home.
According to Indian media, the aunt, who works at the singer’s home, called Vani Jairam’s sister, who also had an alternate key to the house, after she did not open the door despite ringing the bell repeatedly in the morning.
When the family entered the house by unlocking the door with the help of a duplicate key, the popular singer of yesteryear was lying on the floor bleeding from her head.
Singer Vani Jairam was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead. It is not yet clear whether the singer committed suicide or died in an accidental fall.
The police registered a case and started the investigation. The post-mortem of the body is being done.
It should be noted that singer Vani Jairam, who has sung songs in 19 languages, started her career in 1971 and won the National Film Award of India three times. He sang more than 10,000 songs, but had given up singing for a long time.
