Karachi: During an operation of CTD, the main operative of the banned organization was arrested.
The police party of CTD (Anti-Terrorism Finishing Unit) arrested the main cadre of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan while conducting an operation in Lari Road Ibrahim Haidari Korangi between Wednesday and Thursday night.
According to the police, the arrested accused Ghulam Nabi collects funds for TTP. The accused was in contact with TTP terrorists through WhatsApp and Telegram. The accused was collecting donations for TTP from Lari Road Korangi.
Donation receipts and money have been recovered from the arrested accused. During investigation, the accused has admitted to going to Peshawar first and then to Afghanistan for training in terrorism. The arrested accused is being interrogated regarding his undercover accomplices and future plans in his city.
