Srinagar: After Karnataka and other states, the Modi government also banned the wearing of hijab in Occupied Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Narendra Modi’s fascist government is imposing Hindutva agenda of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in the schools of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir to achieve its nefarious ends.
Hijab students of Vishwa Bharati School located in Renavari area of Srinagar were prevented from entering the school. The students were told that if they want to wear hijab, then go to madrassas instead of schools.
On the protest of the students, the school administration said that they had received these orders from a higher officer. Despite the protests of the students and their parents, the school administration did not change its stand.
In a conversation with the media, the students said that we cannot be stopped from covering our heads. Practicing religious teachings is our fundamental right. Who is the Modi government to deprive us of this right?
