Lahore: The Muslim League (N) welcomed the formation of Jahangir Tareen’s new political party, the Stability Pakistan Party, and signaled an electoral alliance.
On Jahangir Tareen’s announcement, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant and League leader Atta Tarar said that we have good relations with Jahangir Tareen and almost everyone who joined him and Aoon Chaudhry are our cabinet assistants.
He said that in many constituencies where Tareen Sahib’s candidates will stand, there is also a possibility of a joint candidate, Tareen Sahib and we will run together.

On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has issued a response and said that ‘establishing any party by collecting people after forced divorces is not a solution to the country’s problems, the only solution to Pakistan’s problems and issues is free and transparent elections’.
