Minimum salary should be 40 thousand rupees in the budget, Sirajul Haque

Lahore: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq has said that in the budget world, while convenience brings trouble, fear and despair to us, the minimum salary should be 40 thousand rupees.

Addressing the pre-budget seminar organized by Jamaat-e-Islami, he said that the government should tax the income, provide facilities to small farmers and tax landlords instead of hitting those who earn Rs 18,000 and crores per month. Interest-free micro-financing for youth, bank loans should be diverted to small and medium industries.

Sirajul Haq said that the Finance Minister should keep the promise and give the nation an interest-free budget, the government should follow the constitution and return the principal amount instead of interest on foreign loans.

Amir Jamaat-e-Islami said that as the finance minister, he presented six budgets in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and made the province debt-free. Based on experience, I am sure that there is no shortage of resources in the country.
