India’s legendary actor Naseeruddin Shah has admitted his mistake regarding the Sindhi language.
In his explanatory statement, Naseeruddin Shah said that my statement about Sindhi language in Pakistan was wrong.
He had said during an interview that Sindhi language is no longer spoken in Pakistan.
Naseeruddin Shah further said that the statement of relationship between Marathi and Persian was misunderstood, I had said that many Marathi words are of Persian language.
He said that my intention was not to demean Marathi language, my aim was to describe the cultural diversity, Urdu language is also a mixture of Hindi, Persian, Turkish and Arabic.
The Indian actress was heavily criticized on social media for her statement.
