Deaths of newborns: Parents should never buy this bed, the alert continues in America

Colorado: The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has asked parents or caregivers of newborn babies to stop using newborn loungers.

According to US media reports, after the tragic death of 2 babies due to newborn loungers, the CPSC has once again issued a warning to avoid buying such beds.

Loungers manufacturer The Bobby Co. backed the agency’s alert, saying that if the infant rolls over in the lounger, moves or the bed is placed in a position that obstructs breathing, the baby may die. There is a risk of suffocation.

Eight babies died from newborn loungers between 2015 and 2020, after which more than 3 million loungers were recalled from stores in 2021 and their sale was outlawed. Line marketing was revived.
