Well-known Pakistani comedian Iftikhar Thakur has revealed that if he called Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif even at 2 in the night, he would immediately call him for a meeting.
Iftikhar Thakur recently appeared as a guest on a podcast where he talked about several different topics.
During this podcast, he asked a question from the host that you worked under different rulers, during whose rule was it easy to meet him?
Answering the host’s question, Iftikhar Thakur revealed that Mian used to meet him very easily during Nawaz Sharif’s regime. Whenever you call them, they used to ask who is who. If you tell them, they would say come immediately.
He further told that if you call him at 2 o’clock in the night and say that we can talk for 10 minutes? So their answer was why 10 minutes, it can be half an hour, come immediately.
In response to another question of the host, Iftikhar Thakur said that we used to have nothing to do with the rulers, we used to go to fight with Mian Sahib.
Iftikhar Thakur said that these people are very sweet, even now if they ever go to London for a program, they go to their house to meet them where they arrange food etc.
