Dera Ismail Khan: Two sisters were killed in a landmine explosion in Tunda Dara area of Upper South Waziristan.
According to the local police, a loud explosion was heard in Tunda Dara area of Upper South Waziristan yesterday. Local people rushed to the scene and found two girls seriously injured.
The girls have been identified as the daughters of local man Janan Khan and the two girls are said to be around 8 and 15 years old respectively.
The local people tried to take the injured to the hospital for medical help but could not help. According to the police, Janan Khan is a cowherd and deals in livestock.
