Madhya Pradesh: In India, a newborn girl suffering from pneumonia died after being exposed to a hot rod.
According to Indian media, a 3-month-old girl in Madhya Pradesh was brought to the hospital in critical condition. The girl was suffering from pneumonia for 15 days but she died due to lack of timely treatment.
However, it was later reported that before being brought to the hospital, the girl was being treated by an Itai doctor who applied a hot rod 51 times on the stomach of the flower-like girl in the name of killing the pneumonia germs.
Due to the lack of consciousness, the mother thought that the hot rod would cure the child’s pneumonia.
On receiving the information, the police sent the girl’s body for post-mortem after exhumation. If this is proved, the doctor may be punished.
